WHO WE ARE

Our purpose is to connect the leading executives, decision makers in the UK pensions industry.

Through the medium of dedicated conference events, initially online, we stage powerful debates around the challenges facing pensions practitioners, mainly across the key areas of investments, governance, development strategy, regulation and member engagement. 

Working with an exceptional Advisory Board of diverse talents and experience, strongly represented by leading asset owners, we identify the main issues that pensions executives are grappling within these areas, especially the knottiest problems that defy easy resolution. 

 Our principal aim is to create the conditions by which the most practically valuable, candid exchanges take place among delegates, with a view to being a centre of excellence where opinions are formed. 

Two overriding principles are key to this ambition:

01) Agendas

Our conference programme agendas do not shy away from controversial topics or contrarian viewpoints.

02) Networking

We recognise that informal networking exchanges among delegates are every bit as valuable as information imparted in formal sessions.

Our Director

I’m Stephen Glover, and over the last 20 years, I’ve designed, programmed and run over 180 conferences for asset owners and their advisers over 5 continents. 

In recent years, I’ve been exclusively involved in designing conferences for UK pensions and it is upon this work that SG Pensions Enterprise is building strongly. 

I’m passionate about staging conferences which offer tangible and practical benefits to participants, in which regard there is no greater reward than enthusiastic feedback from industry leaders. I’d love to hear from anyone who would like to contribute to this goal.

Our Online Masterclasses

Developed in Zoom

As we were established during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have so far staged online masterclasses.

We utilise Zoom Meetings to run our events.

Working with our Advisory Board

We work with our distinguished Advisory Board, comprised of some of the key figures in the UK pensions industry, to design and develop our Masterclasses. 

The Advisory Board meets regularly to prioritise topics for the Masterclasses and to recommend speakers, sponsors and session formats which will maximise the practical value and learning experience.

Networking

Delegates are encouraged to network with sponsors and fellow delegates during sessions, increasing interaction between attendees.

Live Polling

Some of our sessions include live polling as an interactive way to gather different opinions on the highlighted topic and to stimulate debate.

Recording

All of our conferences are recorded, and session recordings are shared with attendees and sponsors post-event, subject to speaker permissions.

Our team
